I'm always on the lookout for ideas to entertain our little one (or heck, anyone). And if the idea works without an Internet connection, even better.
My latest idea source? Project Gutenberg. A quick search for games returns promising results:
- Children's Rhymes, Children's Games, Children's Songs, Children's Stories, by Robert Ford, Illustrated by Kate T. Hill
- My Book of Indoor Games by Clarence Squareman
- What Shall We Do Now?: Five Hundred Games and Pastimes by Dorothy Canfield Fisher
To get instant access to these books, you'll want:
- Download Aldiko eBook reader
- Follow the instructions to hook in the Project Gutenberg catalog
- Search for the above books and install them on your mobile phone
Now you've got lots of ideas to try out, and no need for an Internet connection to browse through them.
