The twins really liked cooked sweet potato, carrots, and green beans. Just boil it, cut into long strips (like french fries) and let him at it. (Obviously green beans don't need to be cut into strips...) You can really feed him just about anything that's soft enough for him to gum...banana, baked apple, pear, etc. If you're doing baby-led weaning, which I highly recommend, don't expect him to be taking a lot of food in. It could be weeks or even months until he's coordinated enough and interested in food enough to realize that eating solid food makes him less hungry. Have fun!

ReplyDeleteHey Elana -
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tips. Watching you feed the twins has definitely given Shira and I some fun ideas for feeding our little guy!
