This history of programming languages post is absolutely hilarious. Take the description of C, for example:
1972 - Dennis Ritchie invents a powerful gun that shoots both forward and backward simultaneously. Not satisfied with the number of deaths and permanent maimings from that invention he invents C and Unix.
It's funny, because it's true.

ReplyDeleteI feel like this could be used in an interview - have the interviewee read it over and see what they do and don't laugh at.
What better way to see how thoroughly they understand a language?
