CNN is carrying this useful nugget for T-Mobile G1 owners: Google improves Gmail for iPhone, Android. And by doing the following, I was able to confirm it:
- In the Android web browser, visit mail.google.com
- Look for the link at the top that mentions access to the newest Gmail
- Click it and allow Gears access to the site
- Wait...and you're all set
I wasn't expecting to get my Android app advice from CNN, but hey, I'll take it from anywhere I can get it.
Now, if the native e-mail application on Android worked better with Gmail, now that would be perfect. Oh well, this will have to do for now.
