Now that's a screensaver!

Forget race cars, scenic shots and chicks in bikinis - this is a *real* screensaver. It's the GNU Emacs Reference card in all its glory.

My guess is that now the cleaning people will get to learn emacs, and once they do, take over our jobs. Yeah, emacs is that powerful.

Update: It's worth mentioning that this was Beamer's screen at the office. Way to go Beamer!

  2. Hmm.. not much of a screen SAVER if it's a static image displayed across the whole screen, is it?

I certainly approve of the content, though, just seems silly to call it a screensaver. I've got all sorts of quick reference cards printed and hanging on my cube walls. My screensaver is the most exciting of all... Blank Screen!

  3. OK, fair point.

But let's face it, if you're going to have an image burned into your monitor permanently, I can't think of anything better than an emacs quick ref card.

I guess I should have said something like: Now that's a background!
