Arlington Alert At Work

Shira and I just got this text message from Arlington Alert:

Wow - that puts a damper on the festivities back home.

There are two takeaways for me from this:

- See Mom, going to AC was really a security decision. It's much safer here in an industrial bubble that is a modern casino.

- Push messaging works and works well. You don't need a terrorist attack to see how valuable this is. Your run of the mill natural disaster will do just fine. I'm proud of Arlington for having it so together in this area.
