Dave taught me two things with this last post of his on CSS debugging:
- First, if you are running a browser which doesn't have CSS debugging support, but does understand CSS, there's a hack you can make use of.
I too recall when I learned that I could use * as a selector and thought to myself -- where the heck have I been? This is so cool and essential.
- IE has it's own dev toolbar, which competes head on with Firefox's. Now things like checking on the value of an element's CSS or measuring on screen distances can be done in IE just like it can be done in Firefox.
