Off by a few degrees

Looks like DC missed a bit of a bullet this morning. We had a bunch of snow and slush - but luckily, it was a few degrees too warm.

A few degrees the other way and every surface would have been coated in ice. Instead it's just a wet mess. Whew.

Of course a nasty ice storm storm may have ment a snow day with the if. I guess I'm not *that* lucky.
