I think this is a really cool project, and hope they can pull it off.
Though, the hard part probably isn't the hardware, but what you actually do with it. We all know a computer is a terrific tool - but it's just that, a tool. You can do incredible things with it, but if you don't put it to work, it just sits there, the same as any other tool.
So, I would love to read about the lesson plans or other aspects of education that the $100 laptop enables.
