If you are going to go shopping, at least make it cell phone shopping.
Shira wa considering thr Razr and the A630.
The Razr is tiny and shiny. The A630 has a clever keyboard.
But both phones weren't really that impressive. I think for now we'll just wait. I would hope the A630 would come in price enough to make it worthy.
As for me - I'm still very much enjoying my sidekick? Can you tell? ;-)

I'm interested in the A630, too. I need to find a working demo and check it out. In the meantime, I'll stick with the Nokia 6680.
ReplyDeleteAbout the only really good thing I can say about the A630 is that it really is small. The phone is small, even for one that doesn't have a built in thumb board.
ReplyDeleteBUT, after using my sidekick it just pales in comparison. The keyboard seems really cheap, not much better than a calculator. And the software is nothing special - yeah, they might work, but it was all very un-impressive.
If the price dropped significantly (say free?) I'd suggest Shira buy one so she can have speakerphone, bluetooth, a small footprint and a thumboard. But I certainly wouldn't pay good money for it.
Keep in mind, that's after playing with it for 20 minutes at a T-mobile kiosk.
